It’s always a great time when you get to go on an adventure with your family, friends, co-workers, school mates or even fellow travelers! Together you get to experience the majestic Willamette River and make memories that last forever. We invite you to chat with our Group Sales Team to make sure everything goes smoothly from booking to boarding!
All Group Excursions are contract required adventures with a streamlined reservation and ticketing process through our Group Sales Team.

Standard Groups
MINIMUM OF 25 PEOPLEGroup Reservation Requirements and Policies:
PARTIES OF 24 OR LESS
Parties of 24 or less have the convenience of making individual reservations or a single standard booking online and are subject to the standard payment and cancellation policy and trip protection.
GROUP RESERVATION FOR 25 OR MORE
Parties of 25 or more have the option of booking as a Group
Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
6% booking fee is waived
Tickets are non-refundable unless Trip Protect is purchased at the time of booking.
10% Pilot Gratuity applied to all group bookings.
SEATING:
Group sales will work with your party to ensure your group is seated together on the boat. All other available seating will be filled with other ticket passengers.
Group Excursions do not guarantee an exclusive boat; available seating will be filled with other ticketed passengers.
Please note that our trips sell out, therefore we cannot always accommodate requests for additional passengers.
Only the designated Group Coordinator is permitted to make changes and payments to the booking.
Boat Buyout bookings are subject to different policies.

Trip Protect makes an associated ticket eligible to receive a refund of the full ticket price if canceled at least 72 hrs before scheduled departure.
The Trip Protect cost is $6 per ticket and is NOT refundable.
Trip Changes: The date/time/excursion type may be changed to 72 hours before trip departure to an available trip within the same season, but any resulting price changes will be charged to the purchaser (in the event of greater ticket value) or forfeited by purchaser (in the event of lesser ticket value). Any additional charges will be charged to the original form of payment.
Once booked as a group, the group cancellation policy remains in effect even if the group reservation is reduced to 24 or below.

•Each passenger must sign their own participation agreement, with a verifiable email address.
•Signed agreements using the special link are tracked within the booking.
•Note: One passenger may not sign on behalf of other passengers unless they are a parent or legal guardian to a minor. -
The team at Willamette Jetboat Excursions takes your safety seriously.
The jetboat ride is pretty powerful and may not be for everyone. When you’re on a jetboat, you’ll be exposed to outdoor elements, forces from the jetboat’s spins, speeds, and other intense features that may cause distress or injury if you or anyone in your booking are pregnant or have pre-existing health conditions. These include high blood pressure, motion sickness, heart / neck / back problems, recent surgery or any other medical condition that might be aggravated by this ride. As much as we’d like to have all of you on these boats, we’d recommend not going on the ride if any of these apply.
Boat Buyout
MAXIMUM OF 49 PASSENGERSA boat buyout is a fantastic option for groups that want an exclusive boat and tailored jet boat experience. Perfect for a corporate meeting, reunion, or any special event. Our experienced group sales team will work directly with your designated group coordinator to help check off every detail and ensure a seamless process from the time of booking to your arrival.
Payment:
A 50% payment is due to secure the boat at the time of booking.
The final payment is due 45 days prior to the trip.
- Based on a 49 passenger boat
- Special departure locations and times are subject to availability.
- Tailoring a trip can range from changing the route, specifying a “drier” trip, less spins or speed, etc., or pausing for an onboard presentation or ceremony.

• Trip Protection is not available for boat buyouts.
• Cancellations received 45 or more days before the excursion date will be eligible to receive a full deposit refund.
• Cancellations 44 – 30 days of the excursion date result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit.
• Cancellations received within 29 days of the trip result in 100% forfeiture of payments.
• The final passenger count to verify occupancy is due 7 days prior to your trip (does not change price).

School Groups
MINIMUM OF 30 PASSENGERSThank you for letting us be part of your annual school field trip! It’s an absolute joy providing students the opportunity to celebrate their year-end with a memorable and exhilarating Willamette Jetboat ride on the Willamette River!
Discounted school trips available mid-May to mid-June. Holidays excluded.
TRIP CHOICES
The 30 minute Quick and Scenic Excursion: An excellent option which includes all the splash and dash plus a portion of the ship and bridges tour in a shorter time frame. This trip suits younger graders or classes on a tight time or budget.
Grade Levels K-12: Students $14 Adults/Chaperones $20
The 1 Hour Ships and Bridges Excursion: A popular choice as the hour-long ride provides a good balance of education, spins, and splash in just the right amount of time.
Grade Levels K-12: Students $19 Adults/Chaperones $29
- 1 teacher per 25 students rides for free, additional adults at chaperone rate
- We ask that you maintain a student to adult ratio of 15:1 (for every 15 students there must be one adult) and not exceed 6:1 (for every 6 students there may be up to one adult) *based on a 49 passenger boat
- 6% booking fee is waived
- 4% fuel surcharge is waived

• Discounted school trips rates are offered Monday through Thursdays only, mid-May to mid-June. Memorial Day weekend and Father’s Day excluded
• Boarding times are available at designated blocks between 9am to 3pm
• Max capacity of each boat is 49 passengers
• Minimum of 30 passengers required
• If a group will have more than 49 passengers, we require a guarantee of 80 passengers to bring in a second boat
• Schools limited to 2 boats per trip, if available. The number of boats provided depends solely on student participation.
• Type 1 emergency life jackets are supplied on the boat for every passenger. Use during the trip is not required by the USCG
• Parking is available in the OMSI parking lot and boarding is by the USS Blueback Submarine!
• This program is available to public schools (grades 3 to 12) within the Oregon and Washington school districts, and accredited charter schools.

Printed waivers can no longer be accepted. This change is effective March 1, 2026.
There is an option to opt out for a fee of $10.00. The opt out fee may be paid by individual parties.

We will send you login credentials to an online dashboard so you can monitor your students’ signed agreements.

The booking window for schools opens September 1 to October 15, and March 1 to June 15.
To book, use the School Trip Request Form below which will become available during the booking window.
Be prepared to provide the following
- School name
- Teacher/Coordinator contact info
- Trip selection
- Top three trip dates
- Top three departure times
- Number of students
- Number of adults. (To welcome as many children as possible, adult spots are limited.)
Our schedule fills up fast! School bookings are accommodated on a first come first service basis. We do our absolute to make sure all schools get on the books.

OMSI’s tented riverfront courtyard and restaurant patio truly offers some of the best views of the Portland skyline and bridges. It’s the perfect venue for your pre-excursion gathering or post-ride celebration.
OMSI Happy Hour Package
Tented riverfront courtyard or restaurant patio is available Monday – Sunday for groups up to 50 people.
The Courtyard is available daily for events starting at 3pm.
Theory Patio is available daily for events starting at 4pm.
2-Hour Happy Hour Rental is $1,000
Booking available up to 30-days in advance
Full-service catering packages available from OMSI’s exclusive catering partner, Epicurean Group.
